Kareena Kapoor Turns Down The UK Prime Minister Brown

The size zero bikini bombshell Kareena Kapoor was invited for a gala event by the House of Commons as a special guest of the PM at his residence at Downing Street on November 18th. She was supposed to meet Brown himself and also be honoured as an international ambassador and join the Silver Star charity that helps in spreading awareness about diabetes. Leading members from the political, business, arts and culture, and sports fields were present at the occasion but, unfortunately, Bebo couldn’t make it.

She was tied down with prior commitments to Sajid Nadiadwala for whose film Kambakkht Ishq she is shooting with Akshay Kumar in Mumbai. What’s a woman without her curves, rightly said Bipasha Basu when she was asked to respond to the size-zero fad that had gripped certain Bollywood belles – Kareena Kapoor prominent among them – at the start of this year. Bebo (as Kareena is fondly called) had drawn a lot of flak for her anorexic look from many quarters even though some thought she looked “sexy” in her thin and almost skeletal body frame.

Now, Kareena is saying goodbye to size-zero and putting on some flesh to acquire her lost curves back.
She has already sported a healthy look for Kambakkth Ishq where she is paired with Akshay Kumar.

“My look is more voluptuous and sexy in ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ so I had to go on a different diet and exercise regime,” Kareena is quoted by a tabloid.Kareena says she even reduced her yoga exercises from seven days a week to three days.

But this is just the beginning. Kareena is set to become chubbier for the Karan Johar production in which she is romantically paired with beau Saif Ali Khan for the first time. In the movie, to be directed by Rensil D’ Silva, Kareena plays a Muslim girl. And to get a natural look, Karan has asked Kareena to shun all the weight-losing exercises and diets, and become chubby rather. Kareena also won’t wear any make-up for her role in the film.

Kareena Kapoor says no to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

Kareena Kapoor left on Sunday night to shoot in the below-freezing temperature in Philadelphia. Kareena is so excited about shooting this film produced by Karan Johar that she has said no to a special invitation from the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

"It was a huge honour. I was the only invitee from Bollywood and it always feels great to represent our country. It was an invitation from the British House Of Commons to visit the Prime Minister. But if I had gone Karan Johar's dates would've suffered."

"What to do?" sighs the overworked Diva as she gathered her wits and clothes for her imminent departure. "I don't have the time. Besides, the invitation came too late....my fault. They couldn't access me, so they finally had to get to me through my father. By then, it was too late for me to accommodate a flying visit to the House Of Commons for this uncommon honour."

After garnering huge accolades for size zero in Tashan, slick beauty Kareena Kapoor is all set to don a new look which is said to be inspired from Sarah Jessica Parker of ‘Sex And The City’. After Posh (size zero), it’s now Parker’s look that Bebo is dieing to take up in her next film titled Kambakht Ishq opposite Akshay Kumar.

To don Parker’s look was actually suggested to Bebo by her sister Lolo (Karishma Kapoor). “My looks in KI will be something audiences haven`t seen before. It`s completely different from ‘Tashan’, ‘Golmaal Returns’ and ‘Jab We Met’. I play a surgeon and a supermodel in ‘Kambakht Ishq’ and my styling has been done keeping my character in mind. Kareena Kapoor , born 21 September 1980) nicknamed "Bebo" is a four-time Filmfare Award-winning Indian popular actress who appears in Bollywood movies.

Since her debut in the 2000 film, Refugee, she has acted in nearly 30 films, majority of them bringing her critical success rather than commercial success. Despite this fact, she has emerged today as one of the top and most versatile actresses from the industry.
